Contemporary sculptural wall art inspired by natural textures and materiality

Maison Beige (French for “beige house”) was born from a moment of warm minimalism at our home, where we wanted to create art that speaks through shape, texture, and tactility, rather than relying solely on color. After many experiments, we set out to transform the subtlety of neutral tones into expressive, tactile experiences — a playful counterpoint to the idea that “all beige houses are boring.”

Founded by an engineer and an interior designer, our studio combines precision, technical mastery, and attention to detail with a refined sense of aesthetic harmony. Together, we create handcrafted, material-driven artworks that elevate decorative art into collectible, tactile wall pieces.

Located in the woods, our studio is a space dedicated to thoughtful craftsmanship and experimentation. Each piece is handcrafted from upcycled building board, finished with natural clay or marble plaster, and in larger formats supported by wood frames. Our palette of natural earthy tones ( like ash olive, mocca stone, terracotta, sandy beige, occasionally charcoal or cobalt blue) is hand-mixed, ensuring that each work is unique, even within limited editions.

Our sculptures range from geometric, architectural forms to organic, flowing compositions (Abstract Pebbles, Paperthin series), all unified by tactile textures, monumental shapes, and subtle plays of light and shadow. Each artwork is designed to interact with its environment, creating a dynamic dialogue with light, architectural features, and surrounding natural materials

Maison Beige Studio’s mission is to create art that is both approachable and enduring, bridging the space between carefully crafted, thoughtful sculpture and interior design. Our works invite reflection, provoke curiosity, and transform spaces into monumental yet intimate experiences of material, form, and presence.
